Structured Multiliteracy, Spanish

Esperanza:

The Esperanza program is a Spanish sequential and explicit multisensory, structured language approach for reading, writing, and spelling designed to be used in early literacy classrooms or as a Tier II or Tier III intervention program for 1st through 3rd grade students as an intervention tool for struggling readers.

JELL:

(Journey into English Language Literacy): The JELL program provides teachers with oral language and early English literacy lessons that are especially beneficial for English language learners whose native language is Spanish.

WELLS:

(Working with English Language Learners): WELLS is a transition to English program that provides a systematic and explicit approach for teaching English language and literacy skills to Spanish-speaking English language learners.

WOW:

(Worlds of our World): WOW is a vocabulary program designed to enhance and develop vocabulary in English and/or Spanish. WOW has three levels and introduces word parts such as prefixes, roots and suffixes which transfer from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
